A textbook for all projects

One of the HR targets of the Mainova Board of Management: to organise project management even more efficiently, all individual measures are to be placed beneath the umbrella of an overarching guideline and implemented within the Group.

Active on all levels

After a thorough analysis of the actual situation and following intensive consultation discussions with decision-makers from the human resources and organisational departments, P-SPE developed a general project management guideline that applies to the entire Mainova Group.
Integrated within this guideline were a number of individually coordinated measures, which have been implemented on an ongoing basis since 2005. Examples include:

• Instructing trainee managers and trainees:
  P-SPE designed a special, modular support programme in which sound project management skills were learned by working in small project teams with an experienced P-SPE coach.
• Regular seminars:
  Internal seminars based on project management have been held since 2007 in order to lay the foundations for efficient project management in accordance with the main guideline.
• Innovative training:
  Whether it is active learning using MindGraphic for managers or simulation games of a sporty, competitive nature in small groups , P-SPE has played and continues to play a valuable role in promoting modern project management.

Success with a future

Training that is target-driven and caters for demand for over 200 managers and employees, coaching project managers and project teams, comprehensive advice for departments and teams: the extremely positive experiences since 2005 have led to an exclusive partnership. P-SPE will continue to provide expert support to Mainova in the areas of project-management advice and training and by supporting strategic projects and change processes.
